Each canvas was hand painted and involve image transfers from photographs I took while in Amsterdam. The idea behind this composition is a story line of a new traveler, experiencing a foreign city for the first time. The photos start by trying to capture all of the city at once, and while the traveler spends more time in this new place, photos began to capture the little things that make the city so beautiful. These images overlap, creating an overall understanding of the traveler absorbing their surroundings.

I created a poster advertising the downtown Sanford Farmers Market that takes place every Saturday in Magnolia Square. There is a large antique clock that has been there since the city was built, making it the symbol for downtown Sanford. I sketched the clock and various veggies and fruits to make a classy and sophisticated ad for a good old fashion farmers market!
