Design Challenge
The brand Haagen-Dazs is in need of a holiday gift to promote continued support from their major stockholders. The gift will be centered around the unique flavors, all natural ingredients, and honey bee awareness efforts that set Haagen-Dazs apart from its competitors. Inspirational cards will be creatively displayed to promote the company in an interactive way. A gift box will be designed and constructed to connect the flair of Haagen-Dazs with their environmental efforts. Inside the box a series of inspirational cards will be displayed, identifying key Haagen-Dazs flavors and ingredients that rely on honey bee pollination. The cards will showcase the unique qualities that make Haagen-Dazs one of the leading brands of frozen treats, and highlight the legacy of the brand to promote the continued support Haagen-Dazs is seeking from its
stockholders.
Design Objective
As a luxery ice cream brand, it is important to promote the legacy of Haagen-Dazs and it’s commitment to pure key ingredients. The gift is designed to highlight these principles, as well as remind stockholder’s of the successful environmental efforts led by Haagen-Dasz for “Help the Honey Bees”. Haagen-Dazs implemented this campaign with great success and environmentalism continues to be popular among consumers.
